One Response to World Champions

  1. Keith Ryan says:

I have an old original A Class Cat that has not been sailed for many years:-
the Sail designation is the large blue “A” with two Slashes and towards the lower area
designation – KA 60, it has the aluminium Pear profile mast, believe it or not still reasonably straight with all the wire and fittings..
Just thought to post, if any one interested in A Cat history can recall this boat KA 60
maybe it will bring back memories for someone, I acquired it around 1985.
recreational only not competition, been in the back yard ever since, Just thought to post in case anyone is interested in the history of an old genuine A Class- had a lot of wear and tear so presumably a lot of time on the water long hulls, the ply decks long gone, and so forth.
