BRASS MONKEY REGATTA

Just when your thought that sailing was over on Lake Macquarie for the 2011/2012 sailing season, I have news for you.
Wangi Wangi Sailing Club will hold a 2 day regatta over the Saturday and Sunday of the June Long weekend. We will get the boys at the Eraring and Vales Point power stations to throw a bit more coal into the boilers to keep the Lake nice and warm. A early June Brass Monkey Regatta will certainly test your metal! Actually the water temperature remains relatively mild over Winter (certainly warmer than Arrhus was in August). So pack up your wet suit and some thermal jocks to protect the brass ware and return to this great venue. Rum Sponsorship keenly sought.
